  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium Medium cucumber, grated Grated and excess moisture squeezed out
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped Or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional, for drizzling Olive oil

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, and chopped dill.
  2. Add the lemon juice to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting according to your preference.
  4. If desired, drizzle a little olive oil on top before serving.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled as a dip with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as a sauce for grilled meats.

Notes

Tzatziki can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It's a versatile sauce that can be customized with additional herbs or spices.
