Ingredients

Vanilla Bean Syrup
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 Vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped Or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sugar Cookie Martini
  • 2 oz Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 oz Vanilla Bean Syrup
  • 0.75 oz Heavy Cream
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • Sugar cookie crumbs For garnish (optional)

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Martini glass

Method

Vanilla Bean Syrup
  1. Combine sugar, water, and vanilla bean (or extract) in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely. If using a whole vanilla bean, remove it before cooling. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Sugar Cookie Martini
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, vanilla bean syrup, and heavy cream to the shaker.
  2. Close the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Sprinkle with a pinch of ground cinnamon and garnish with sugar cookie crumbs (optional).
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a stronger cinnamon flavor, use a cinnamon stick instead of ground cinnamon in the syrup. You can also rim the glass with sugar for an extra touch.
