  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lime zest
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
  • 2 Green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, lime juice, and lime zest until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque. Flip the shrimp and pour the sauce over them.
  4. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are cooked through and coated in the sauce.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the shrimp. Toss gently to combine.
  6. Serve the spicy honey Sriracha shrimp warm, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired. Enjoy over rice or with your favorite side.

Notes

For an extra kick, add more Sriracha or serve with lime wedges.
