  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to create the sauce.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they start to turn pink.
  4. Flip the shrimp and pour the sauce over them. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly.
  5. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top.
  7. Serve the spicy honey garlic shrimp garnished with sliced green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or fewer red pepper flakes.
