  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Method

Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chili flakes. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp along with the marinade.
  3. Sauté the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Ensure they are cooked through but not overcooked.
  4. Once the shrimp are cooked, drizzle in the toasted sesame oil and toss to combine. This adds a rich flavor to the dish.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat. Serve the shrimp over cooked rice or noodles. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the level of chili flakes based on your spice preference. This dish pairs well with a side of steamed vegetables.
