- In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well-coated with the spices and oil.
- Allow the shrimp to marinate for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Toss gently to combine.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a milder flavor, reduce the cayenne pepper. Serve with rice or crusty bread to soak up the juices.
