Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated. Allow to marinate for about 15 minutes.
- While the shrimp are marinating, prepare the honey lime sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, lime zest, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.
- Pour the honey lime sauce over the shrimp in the skillet. Stir gently to coat the shrimp evenly. Cook for another minute until the sauce is heated through and slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the red pepper flakes to suit your spice preference. This dish pairs well with rice or a fresh salad.
