  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 lemon Juice of 1 lemon
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to create a marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are well coated in the marinade. Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15-30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. Squeeze the lemon juice over the shrimp while they are cooking for added flavor.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  6. Serve immediately over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up the juices.

Feel free to adjust the level of cayenne pepper to suit your heat preference. This dish pairs well with a side of rice or crusty bread.
