Instructions
  1. If using fresh strawberries, wash and hull them. If using frozen strawberries, there's no need to thaw them.
  2. Peel the banana and break it into smaller pieces.
  3. In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana, milk, and honey or maple syrup if desired.
  4. If you are using yogurt for added creaminess, add it to the blender as well.
  5. For a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes to the blender.
  6. Blend on high speed until all ingredients are smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
  7. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  8. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness and thickness according to your preference. You can also add spinach for a green smoothie.
