- If using fresh strawberries, wash and hull them. If using frozen strawberries, there's no need to thaw them.
- Peel the banana and break it into smaller pieces.
- In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana, milk, and honey or maple syrup if desired.
- If you are using yogurt for added creaminess, add it to the blender as well.
- For a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes to the blender.
- Blend on high speed until all ingredients are smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the sweetness and thickness according to your preference. You can also add spinach for a green smoothie.
