Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the shrimp: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the sauce: In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream, and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing well until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine pasta and shrimp: Add the cooked fettuccine and sautéed shrimp back into the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
  5. Serve: Divide the shrimp Alfredo pasta among serving plates. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream and use less cheese.
