  • 2 pieces Ribeye Steaks
  • 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces Noodles (egg or udon)
  • 3 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 pieces Green Onions, chopped
  • to taste Sesame Seeds for garnish
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 4 pieces Lime wedges for serving

Equipment

  • Grill or Skillet
  • Pot for Noodles

Method

Instructions
  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine shrimp with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sweet chili sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  3. Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining sesame oil. Sauté the minced garlic and ginger for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the marinated shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the remaining sweet chili sauce and honey. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the shrimp. Pour in the remaining soy sauce and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  6. Slice the ribeye steaks against the grain. Serve the sesame garlic noodles topped with sweet chili shrimp and sliced ribeye. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the shrimp while cooking.
