  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice

  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure they sear properly.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat until it bubbles but does not brown.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked through.
  7. Add the lemon zest and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cook for another minute to meld the flavors.
  8. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
  9. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes while cooking.
