- Prepare the Ingredients: Start by peeling and deveining the shrimp if not already done. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the black olives. Mince the garlic and chop the fresh basil.
- Heat the Olive Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until it becomes fragrant but not browned.
- Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Add Tomatoes and Olives: Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced black olives. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

- Finish with Basil and Lemon: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped basil and lemon juice. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
- Serve: Serve the Mediterranean shrimp sauté warm, either on its own or over a bed of rice, quinoa, or pasta for a complete meal.
