- Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
- Add chocolate chips to the melted butter and stir until completely smooth and melted. Remove from heat.
- Stir in sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined and smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with mini marshmallows (optional).
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!
Notes
For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips. You can also add chopped nuts, sea salt, or other desired toppings.
