  • 1 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined Approximately 450g
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 whole Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Lime wedges, for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice. Mix well until the honey is fully dissolved.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet, reserving the marinade. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Flip the shrimp and pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the shrimp warm, garnished with lime wedges and additional cilantro if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider serving with a side of jasmine rice or steamed vegetables.
