- In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, cumin, smoked paprika, turmeric, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp until they are well coated in the marinade. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.
- Remove from heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
- Serve immediately as a main dish or alongside rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad.
