  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp in the skillet. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly and allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, letting it thicken slightly.
  4. Once the shrimp are well-coated and the sauce is thickened, remove from heat. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the shrimp and garnish with sliced green onions.
  5. Serve immediately over rice or noodles, if desired, and enjoy your delicious Honey Garlic Shrimp!
