- In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss to ensure all shrimp are evenly coated. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and start to caramelize.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.
- Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving platter.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of crushed red pepper flakes. You can also add your favorite vegetables to the skillet for a complete meal.
