  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Cooked pasta or crusty bread, for serving Optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes to heat through and combine the flavors.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and add the fresh basil and lemon juice. Toss gently to combine.
  6. Serve the garlic butter shrimp over cooked pasta or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the level of spice by adding more or less red pepper flakes to suit your taste.
