- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted and bubbly, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Flip the shrimp and add the lemon zest and lemon juice. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and coated in the garlic butter sauce.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for extra flavor.
