- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir, allowing the spices to infuse the butter.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they start to turn pink.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until fully cooked and opaque.
- Squeeze the lemon juice over the shrimp and add the lemon zest. Stir to combine, ensuring the shrimp are well coated in the garlic butter sauce.
- Remove from heat and fold in the chopped parsley.
- Serve the garlic butter shrimp immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
