  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes Adjust to taste
  • 1 Lemon, juice
  • 1 Lemon, zest

  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  2. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir, allowing the spices to infuse the butter.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they start to turn pink.
  4. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until fully cooked and opaque.
  5. Squeeze the lemon juice over the shrimp and add the lemon zest. Stir to combine, ensuring the shrimp are well coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and fold in the chopped parsley.
  7. Serve the garlic butter shrimp immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
