- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side until cooked through.
- Once the shrimp are cooked through, drizzle the fresh lemon juice over them and sprinkle with black pepper and salt to taste.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Serve the garlic butter shrimp immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
