  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Flip the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side until cooked through.
  5. Once the shrimp are cooked through, drizzle the fresh lemon juice over them and sprinkle with black pepper and salt to taste.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  7. Serve the garlic butter shrimp immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste. This dish pairs well with rice or a fresh salad.
