  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 lemon Lemon zest
  • 1 lemon Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Cooked rice or pasta (optional) for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.
  4. Flip the shrimp and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the fresh parsley.
  6. Serve immediately over cooked rice or pasta if desired.
