- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.
- Flip the shrimp and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and coated in the garlic butter sauce.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice or pasta if desired.
