Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the firecracker sauce. In a medium saucepan, combine the sweet and spicy chili sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to the saucepan with the firecracker sauce. Gently toss the meatballs in the sauce until they are well coated.
- Serve the firecracker meatballs warm, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the level of sriracha in the sauce based on your spice preference.
