Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package (16 ounces) Oreo Cookies
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 12 ounces White Chocolate Chips
  • 6 ounces Red Candy Melts
  • 6 ounces Green Candy Melts
  • 1/4 cup Christmas Sprinkles optional
  • 1-2 teaspoons Milk optional, if mixture is too dry

Equipment

  • Food processor or zip-top bag
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave-safe Bowls

Method

Instructions
  1. Crush the Oreos: Pulse the Oreos in a food processor until finely crushed, or crush them in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  2. Combine with Cream Cheese: In a medium bowl, mix the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until a dough forms. Add a teaspoon of milk at a time if the mixture is too dry.
  3. Roll into Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip and Set: Dip each Oreo ball in the melted white chocolate, tapping off excess. Place them back on the parchment paper.
  7. Melt Candy Melts & Decorate: Melt the red and green candy melts separately. Once the white chocolate is slightly set, drizzle the red and green melts over the balls in a festive pattern. Add sprinkles immediately.
  8. Chill Again: Refrigerate for another 15-20 minutes to set the chocolate.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a richer flavor, use cream cheese with a higher fat content. You can also experiment with different colored candy melts or add other festive decorations like mini marshmallows or crushed candy canes.
