  • 8 ounces Lo Mein Noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, sliced Red, yellow, or green
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets
  • 1 cup Snap Peas
  • 2 Green Onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • Optional Protein (chicken, shrimp, or tofu) Choose as desired

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Incorporate the sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and snap peas into the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. If using a protein, add it to the skillet at this point and cook until fully cooked through.
  6. Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet, followed by the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together to ensure the noodles and vegetables are well-coated in the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes to heat everything through.
  8. Finally, stir in the sliced green onions and cook for an additional minute.
  9. Remove from heat and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious lo mein noodles!
