- Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Incorporate the sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and snap peas into the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- If using a protein, add it to the skillet at this point and cook until fully cooked through.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet, followed by the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together to ensure the noodles and vegetables are well-coated in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes to heat everything through.
- Finally, stir in the sliced green onions and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious lo mein noodles!
