  • 1 14.5 ounce can Green Beans drained
  • 1 10.75 ounce can Cream of Mushroom Soup condensed
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups French Fried Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Adds depth of flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Drain the green beans and set aside.
  2. In your slow cooker, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, or until heated through and bubbly.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of the French fried onions.
  6. Continue to cook on low for 30 minutes, or until the onions are slightly softened.
  7. Before serving, top with the remaining 1/2 cup of French fried onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add other vegetables like mushrooms or onions to the casserole. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
