- Season the chicken breast strips with salt and cracked black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and adjust salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Return the chicken strips to the skillet, coating them well with the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy your creamy garlic Parmesan smothered chicken strips!
Notes
For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
