  • 1 pound Chicken breast strips
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breast strips with salt and cracked black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and adjust salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Return the chicken strips to the skillet, coating them well with the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy your creamy garlic Parmesan smothered chicken strips!

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
