- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- While pasta cooks, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Add the cooked pasta to the bowl with the dressing. Toss gently to coat.
- Add the halved tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil to the pasta. Gently toss to combine.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, or olive oil to your liking.
- Serve immediately or chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use fresh basil pesto instead of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or cucumbers.
