  • 1 cup Coarsely ground coffee
  • 4 cups Cold water
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Milk or cream optional, for serving
  • Sweetener optional, to taste

Instructions
  1. In a large jar or pitcher, add 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee.
  2. Pour in 4 cups of cold water, ensuring all coffee grounds are saturated.
  3. Gently stir the mixture to combine, ensuring even extraction.
  4. Cover the jar or pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap and steep at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.
  5. After steeping, strain the coffee concentrate through a fine-mesh sieve or coffee filter into a clean container. Discard the coffee grounds.
  6. To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cold brew coffee concentrate over the ice. Dilute with water, milk, or cream to taste. Add sweetener if desired.
  7. Store any leftover cold brew concentrate in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

Adjust steeping time for a stronger or milder flavor. Experiment with different types of coffee for unique taste profiles.
