  • 1 large head Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 cup Croutons Store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated preferred
  • 1/4 cup Caesar Dressing Add more to taste
  • to taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • optional Lemon Wedges For garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold running water. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess moisture.
  2. Tear the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
  3. Add the croutons to the bowl with the lettuce.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the lettuce and croutons.
  5. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad. Start with 1/4 cup and add more if you prefer a creamier texture.
  6. Toss the salad gently using salad tongs or your hands until all ingredients are well combined and coated with the dressing.
  7. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste. You can also add more Parmesan cheese if desired.
  8. Serve the salad with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
  9. Enjoy your Caesar salad immediately while the croutons are still crunchy!

Notes

For a vegetarian version, ensure the Caesar dressing does not contain anchovies.
