  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander (cilantro), chopped
  • Lime wedges for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lime juice, lime zest, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
  6. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the chopped fresh coriander.
  7. Serve the chili lime shrimp with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding diced jalapeƱos to the marinade.
