  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes Adjust to taste

  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped Plus extra for garnish
  • for serving Lemon wedges

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and chili flakes. Toss to coat evenly and set aside for about 10 minutes to marinate.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and start to curl.
  5. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until fully cooked and opaque.
  6. Stir in the chopped parsley and toss to combine. Remove from heat.
  7. Transfer the shrimp to a serving platter, garnish with additional parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Adjust the level of chili flakes to suit your spice preference. Serve with crusty bread or over rice for a complete meal.
