Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 14 ounce can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Rainbow Sprinkles or sprinkles of your choice
  • 1/2 cup Butterscotch Chips optional, for added flavor

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • 8x8 inch baking pan
  • Electric Mixer (optional)
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Parchment Paper

Method

Instructions
  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together the sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. An electric mixer works best, but you can use a hand mixer or whisk.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and flour, mixing until just combined. Don't overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  4. Stir in the sprinkles and butterscotch chips (if using) until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  7. Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Feel free to experiment with different types of sprinkles or add-ins, like chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
