  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • as needed Lemon wedges (for serving)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  3. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Toss to combine.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
