Instructions
- Finely crush Oreo cookies using a food processor or rolling pin in a zip-top bag. Aim for a fine crumb consistency.
- Melt chocolate chips (you can do this in the microwave or double boiler).
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed Oreos, melted chocolate, softened butter, peanut butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms. Add a teaspoon of milk at a time if the mixture is too dry.
- Roll 1 tablespoon portions of dough into oval shapes for turkey bodies. Gently shape into elongated ovals.
- Attach candy corn to the back of each turkey body for feathers, overlapping slightly.
- Make small balls of dough for heads and attach to the narrower end of the bodies. Attach two mini marshmallows for wattles and small candies for eyes.
- Insert two pretzel sticks into the bottom of each body for legs.
- Chill on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes to firm up (optional).
Notes
For extra flavor, use different types of chocolate chips or add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough. Get creative with your decorations! You can use different colored candies or sprinkles.
