  • 1 pound Breakfast Sausage (any flavor, casings removed)
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions finely chopped, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Jalapeños minced, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Reduce heat to low. Stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is well combined.
  4. Stir in the jalapeños (if using).
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving dish.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add more jalapeños or a dash of your favorite hot sauce. You can also experiment with different cheeses like Monterey Jack or pepper jack.
